Rx Synchronization Program
Our Rx Synchronization Program aligns a resident's routine medications so they are filled together on a single, predictable schedule.
About Rx Synchronization Program
Working with the prescriber, we synchronize each resident's medications so prescriptions are filled automatically and delivered as the medication regimen dictates — once a month, for convenience.
Synchronizing refills reduces missed doses, simplifies ordering for your staff, and helps prevent gaps in therapy. Fewer separate fill dates mean less administrative work for your team and more consistent medication adherence for your residents.
Medication packaging at no additional cost
Simplify the pharmacy experience and medication management — all while improving your staff's level of comfort — with adherence packaging. Community Care Rx has a variety of medication packaging systems available for your site at no additional cost.

Packaging systems we offer
Color-coded MedTime cards use bright colors for easily identifying and systematically administering medications by daily time passes. SureMed Multimed blister cards organize multiple medications by time of day, proven to help residents stick with prescribed therapy. Dispill Multi-Dose is a cold-sealed multi-dose packaging system for safe, effective dispensing.
ATP strip packaging organizes pouch strips by a resident's pass time (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime). Medicine-On-Time (MOT) simplifies complex regimens with proven, scalable medication management. Qube multi-dose cards are ideal for residents who need extra assistance. We also offer the OPUS medication system and Wet Cadet liquid unit-dose packaging.
Medication disposal at our pharmacy
A MedSafe disposal receptacle is available at our pharmacy so unneeded medications can be discarded safely. Acceptable items include pills, tablets, capsules, ointments, creams, lotions, powders, and liquid medicines up to 4 oz — liquids must be in their original containers, wrapped in a paper towel, and sealed in a plastic bag before being placed in MedSafe.
Items we cannot accept for disposal include aerosol spray cans, alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, needles, syringes or sharps containers, more than 4 oz of liquid, trash, mercury thermometers, batteries, chemicals, and home-based care or durable medical equipment supplies.
